Q: AFTER I SUBSCRIBE TO OPTION 2,3, OR 4---How exactly do I get my ski tickets?

A: After you subscribe, we will send you an e-mail with a voucher to the ski area of your choice (with the exception of Kirkwood and Snowbird resorts. You will not need an e-mailed voucher at these resorts). You will then present your voucher at the designated area described below, unless we are mailing the tickets directly to you. Please, do not contact us about this unless there is an emergency. Otherwise, ski ticket privileges will be revoked. When you arrive at the resort you chose, they will have a list of names of people who subscribed to our weather service. You will need to show I.D. Specific instructions are as follows with picking up your tickets:

STOWE, VERMONT - Stowe lift tickets are not good for Saturdays or during holiday periods. To pick up your tickets, present the voucher we e-mail you at the Commodores Inn, located on Route 100 in lower village, in Stowe, Vermont. You will be given a Stowe Mountain Resort ski voucher to present at the ticket window at the mountain. If there is a problem call the Commodores Inn at 802-253-7131.

KIRKWOOD - We will send the tickets for Kirkwood to your address-regular mail. It will likely take 3-5 business days. There are NO RUSH orders. We will also send you a confirmation by e-mail, but it will be the ticket you receive in the mail that will be presented at Kirkwood when you go skiing.

SNOWBIRD - The first 50 subscribers to our service will have their tickets mailed to them regular mail. We will notify you if you are one of the first 50 subscribers. After the first 50 subscribers, tickets can be picked up at Snowbird's will call office. Give them your name and I.D. Call Snowbird ticket office at (801) 933-2215 with questions.

JAY PEAK - Go to Jay Peak's Customer Service office and give them the voucher we e-mail you, your name and I.D. Call (802) 988-2611 and ask for customer service with questions, or e-mail customer service at customerservice@jaypeakresort.com.

WHISTLER - We will send the tickets for Whistler to your address--regular mail. It will likely take 3-5 business days. There are NO RUSH orders. We will also send you a confirmation by e-mail, but it will be the ticket you receive in the mail that will be presented at Whistler when you go skiing.

TAOS SKI VALLEY - tickets are not good from 12/26/07-12/31/07. We will send the tickets for Taos Ski Valley to your address-regular mail. It will likely take 3-5 business days. There are NO RUSH orders. We will also send you a confirmation by e-mail, but it will be the ticket you receive in the mail that will be presented at Taos Ski Valley when you go skiing.

WATERVILLE VALLEY - We will send the tickets for Waterville Valley to your address-regular mail. It will likely take 3-5 business days. There are NO RUSH orders. We will also send you a confirmation by e-mail, but it will be the ticket you receive in the mail that will be presented at Waterville Valley when you go skiing.

WILDCAT - Blackout dates: Saturdays/Vacations/Holidays. We will send the tickets for Wildcat to your address-regular mail. It will likely take 3-5 business days. There are NO RUSH orders. We will also send you a confirmation by e-mail, but it will be the ticket you receive in the mail that will be presented at Wildcat when you go skiing.

Q: After subscribing to your weather, if I get tickets for a certain resort and need to cancel my plans, is there a refund, or can I use them next year?

A: Unfortunately, no refunds are allowed, and tickets are only good for the 2007-2008 ski season.

Q: What if I plan on using my ski tickets, but have to change the date of when I will arrive and pick them up?

A: THE ski resort should have a list of your name for the winter, so when you present your voucher at any time, it should be all set up. Sometimes, due to time constraints, the customer service area at the resort may have a problem. ONLY IF YOU FIND THERE IS A PROBLEM, can you call us at 802-635-2693 from the resort. However, you should first try to resolve any problem with the place that you are suppose to be picking up your tickets. Normally, everything should go smoothly.

Q: Can I have the tickets mailed to me, or can I pick them up somewhere else other than the designated location?

A: No, sorry, no exceptions can be made for this due to high volume and time constraints. We can only mail tickets for the resorts indicated above.

Q: Can I get ski tickets for another resort not listed on your site?

A: No, only the tickets described on the registration page from our web site will be available on a first come, first serve basis. However, other ski areas will be signing up during the winter, so you could always sign up again for our weather service, for a friend or someone else, and receive more tickets later.

Q: Are the tickets good for any time this year, and for all chairlifts, etc.?

A: Most tickets are good any time and are full day passes. Stowe, Vermont, however, is different, and they are not good on Saturdays or holidays. Please read the conditions on all of the vouchers that will be sent to you and on this page.

Q: WHAT ABOUT AN EMERGENCY? WHAT DO I DO?

A: IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY ONLY - E-MAIL US AT bestweather@comcast.net. However, ticket privileges will be revoked for any questions that do not pertain to having problems picking up tickets at the designated areas listed above.  You can also call 802-625-2693 if you get to the resort and customer service does not have your name listed. However, again, due to time constraints we can only answer questions in case of an emergency, and not on weekends.

Q: I want to buy more than the 1, 2 or 3 tickets offered when subscribing to your weather. Can I buy more?

A: We are not in the business of selling ski tickets. The tickets are available with our weather subscription only. In some cases, we may be willing to sell you additional tickets--but this is usually when you resubscribe again to one of our services. However, some ski areas do not mind if we sell tickets. To inquire about receiving additional ski tickets ONLY TO THE SKI RESORTS mentioned on the registration page, please e-mail bestweather@comcast.net.
